Talaga Tomohon Home Stay and Fishing Pond ligger i Tomohon, 26 km fra Manado-havnen, og har en have, gratis wi-fi, et fælles køkken og roomservice. We absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place. Everything was clean and the view from the terrace was amazing. Make sure to catch at least one sunset from there. Also Riko and Vanda were amazing and caring hosts. We would definitelly come back!

Our room was spacious, clean and our bed was extremely comfortable. We only had to share the upstairs bathroom with one other room, and it had hot water which was very much appreciated.. There’s a lovely balcony and common areas to relax and enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and water. The host is wonderful and truly went above and beyond for us - he allowed us to check-in very early and even cooked us breakfast the morning we arrived, he arranged our onward travel, provided free transport to the bus station and kindly packed some fruit for our journey. He can help you arrange a tour/guide, motorbike rental, find places to eat and visit. Our only suggestion is to be as clear as possible with your guide about what you are wanting to experience / see to avoid any disappointment. Unfortunately we missed a key day of the ma nene festival because of a miscommunication (which was partly our fault too.)

Super clean, good smell. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I got a sunburn and without asking they just gave me some aloe vera. Rhe dolphin tour is also amazing !!!! Highly recommended

RAMMANG-RAMMANG HOUSE ligger i Maros, 12 km fra Kampoeng Karst Rammang Rammang, 25 km fra Bantimurung Waterfall og 45 km fra Fort Somba Opu. I visited during Ramadan, and the family cooked all of my meals since the restaurants in the area were closed. The facilities are very simple and there is no wifi, but if you're thinking of visiting Rammang Rammang, I would strongly recommend this place.

Toraja Homestay & Coffee Bunna ligger i Rantepao og har en terrasse. Dette feriehus har en have og gratis privat parkering. A slice of paradise. Really beautiful secluded location with fantastic Torajan traditional house. The family were completely lovely and very accommodating.

Ge JacMart Homestay Makassar ligger i Makassar, 4 minutters gang fra Pantai Losari Strand og 41 km fra Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park. Værelserne har aircondition og et privat badeværelse. Josh and Marlah are exceptional hosts. They made us feel very welcomed and comfortable in their home. Marlah arranged a wonderful tour for us. We stayed four days and felt right at home. I highly recommend their homestay. Thank you Marlah and Josh.

It's a fantastic place, do yourself a favour and book it. We originally planned to stay shorter but ended up extending our stay because it felt like home! The homestay is simple but has everything you need - a lovely common space to relax, a balcony with a view of a traditional village, WiFi, tea, coffee, and drinking water. Breakfasts were delicious, and for most dinners, we stayed in—Meyske is an amazing cook! But it’s not just about the food; the homely atmosphere and great conversations made it even more special. On top of that, Meyske is a fantastic guide who made our experience unforgettable, helping us plan the perfect trip. Highly recommend!

The host are very kind and helpful. We arrived very early in the morning with the night bus and the host took us in. We also rented motorbikes for two days which is very helpful

I love this homestead and definitely plan to come back to see the ceremony in August! Together with Jansen, we attended four different funerals and visited all the days to get a complete picture of this process. We also traveled with him to different places (the work of a guide today is 600 000rph for a group of up to 3 people, and this is for the whole day, i.e. 8 hours minimum, i.e. the price is quite pleasant) and Jansen is the best guide you can only dream of. Jansen knows all about the traditions and history of this place, while he has good and understandable English. The homestay is wonderful. I spent almost a week here and felt at home. The rooms are very clean, smells good and beautiful. There is a good fan and it is quite comfortable to sleep with the window open. Also, the room has really good lighting and a sufficient number of outlets. The shared bathrooms are clean and, although I usually prefer a private bathroom, these were quite comfortable to use. Please note that there is a good hot shower on the ground floor, on the first floor there is a little old equipment that can work intermittently - hence in other reviews there are complaints about the lack of hot water. For me, this was not a problem, because it takes a couple of seconds to go down to the shower on the ground floor. A pleasant surprise was the breakfast, which included the price! I'm used to it being often just a cupcake or fried bananas in Indonesia. But here they serve toast or pancakes, fruit and avocado and eggs. You can also have lunch or dinner by ordering food from the menu at a good price - everything is very tasty. Hot coffee, tea and drinking water are always available for free. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the mountains and fields and it's just nice to relax here. The Internet was working smoothly and there was enough of it to work. Jansen and his family are wonderful people and thanks to them, I was very much imbued with the life and atmosphere in Toraja.
