My husband, two teenage sons, and I stayed here for 2 nights on a short trip around the West Coast of Ireland. The house had everything needed and is in a great location-just a short walk into town. Clifden and the surrounding area are beautiful with lots to do nearby. It was a lovely stay!

Twin room was so comfortable and spotlessly clean. The peace and quiet. We slept so well. Very close to town centre. Barbara organised a booking at a perfect little restaurant whilst we were out road tripping the area to Kylemore Abbey and Clifden. Highly recommend a stay at Woodlands. Thank you Barbara you made us feel so at home.

The host was very friendly and breakfast was cooked on the spot, my omelette was perfect! The room was incredibly comfortable, quite spacious and with a nice view. The bathroom was not huge but had a nice bathtub and plenty of shelves for clothes and toiletries, plus it had a wooden towel rack which i appreciated a lot. After a long and tiring day it felt like a mini spa treatment 😊 Also, the host suggested I take a shortcut from Lehanagh to Phiarsaigh and it turned out to be spectacular, no other cars for miles and rugged beauty all around.
