The location was brilliant. Not too far out of Wexford town. We arrived after dark and the navigation wasn’t great, but we rang Aidan and he gave directions right to the gate. Beautiful surroundings, ample parking, lovely welcoming host (Geraldine), she was bubbly, chatty and warm. We were shown to our room, she took our breakfast order and she gave us some information for dinner that evening. The room was spacious, it had everything that you'd typically find in a room for a nights stay. There were towels, tea and coffee, TV, fridge to use just outside our room in the hallway and even a safe and ironing board in our room too. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional, Geraldine had cooked us up a full Irish breakfast and a veggie one (for myself) which had potato croquettes instead of pork sausages. The table was nicely laid out, we had the table for 2 by the window which overlooked the front garden so that was really nice. The cooked breakfasts came out fast. We already had freshly made croissants, wheaten bread and mini scones on the table and over on the other side of the dining room there was a big farmhouse cabinet with cereals, granolas, jams and spreads, juices, water, fruit, yogurts, cheeses and a selection of teas on the other side. Geraldine's husband brought us out our teas, coffees, toast, cooked breakfasts, sauces and checked on us a little later on to see if everything was ok. We found the accommodation easy to find, it was close to restaurants and the harbour (which we had a 10am boat to catch to the saltee islands to see the Puffins).
