After the initial hustle and chaos of India, staying at Mountainview Homestay is a welcome place to unwind. Asfal and his friends are friendly and easy to talk to, and they give great tips on what to see and do in the area. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed. Waking up to a view of the green trees, with a cup of good coffee is pure bliss. It’s incredibly peaceful, with the occasional playful troop of monkeys on the roof to break the silence, peeking curiously at you as they play. In short, the perfect spot to recharge before diving back into colorful, bustling India. P.S. Asfal also helped us with the next leg of our trip. He arranged a taxi driver to take us to the Alleppey, and along the way shared lots about the history of Kerala and India, tea plantations, and Hinduism. We made several stops and got to try local sweets – highly recommended!

Seetha is a wonderful host, very warm and welcoming. She gave me lots of information about the local area and was happy to answer any questions I had. Her place felt very homely and I was welcome to have free use of the kitchen which is perfect for me as I enjoy an evening herbal tea 😌 My room was clean and well maintained, everything was very comfortable. The location is in a quiet street but still close to town and lots of main attractions. My stay couldn't have been better! Thank you Seetha 🙏

I felt very comfortable during my stay here! After traveling in India for over two months, this place was like an oasis. It was quiet and clean, with a comfortable bed. Unfortunately, I fell ill while I was here, but I was fortunate to be in such a good environment. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, which made a significant difference for me. I would definitely stay here again and can’t recommend it enough.

How wonderful to see a property with so many of the small things that make the big difference. Bedside tables, great lighting, shampoo sachets, super bed and sheet and blanket - all spotless. Best of all the staff communication before I even arrived checking I was ok - then resolving a tuk tuk price dispute on my arrival - helping me get away transport wise - and the ultimate location for the boats and shops and bus station. Book today as this is a total gem!

Vrindavan homestay localiza-se a 49 km de Estação Ferroviária de Chengannur e dispõe de um jardim, um salão partilhado e acomodações com ar condicionado, varanda e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. The staff was very helping, both when we arrived Munroe Island late at night, but also when we wanted to go for activities during the day. They were available on the phone throughout the whole day, and answered all the questions we had. We even got to borrow their scooter, to discover other villages nearby! The power went out during the day, and they changed our rooms to a new one with power, without us even asking. Very good service, and friendly people:)
