The host Deepti was very generous, kind and accommodating. I was traveling with Seniors and handicapped people. Deepti went out of the way to ensure we had hot food of our choice ready as we reached,early check in and late check out due to our flight times. I was traveling from US and jet lagged. Care taker was more than accommodating in making me tea at 5am which is very rare. The place is beautifully done, rooms are very comfortable. I would come back in an heartbeat. And I have already started referring this property to my friends and family!!

Osahan Paradise Homestay is a comfortably located modest guesthouse right in the middle of everything. The Golden Temple, restaurants, small family grocery shops, clothes/turban shops and pharmacy were within 2-5 minutes of walking distance from the guesthouse. Local main bazaar/market, museums and AirTel mobile operator's office were within 15-20 minutes of walking distance. Good transportation system around the guest house. Guesthouse owner and staff were very helpful and customer oriented. They helped me with recommendation of places to eat, to shop, to buy bus tickets to other city and local sim card registration/activation. They also arranged my trip to the India-Pakistan border closing ceremony. I had a nice room with park view. Local hindi song was loud and on repeat all day long from morning till 6-7 pm, but it didn’t bother me at all. There was a TV, a fan and an air conditioner in my room, but I didn’t use them at all. Big bed with warm blanket was comfortable that I slept like a baby. Bathroom had a hot and cold water. Clean towel, soap, electric kettle, complimentary tea has been provided. Free wi-fi internet worked very well everywhere in the guesthouse. Overall, my stay at the Osahan Paradise Homestay was very comfortable. I can recommend this place for international travelers.

I had a great experience at this homestay, which is perfect for a family. The self-service kitchen was a smart addition, making it easy to prepare tea/coffee or meals. While the location might be a bit inconvenient due to narrow streets, this wasn’t a big issue as it didn’t impact our stay as we didn’t need to spend much time outside on the streets. Staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the comfort of our visit. If I am ever visiting the Golden Temple again, I will definitely choose this place for my stay.
