He arranged a taxi driver to take us to the Alleppey, and along the way shared lots about the history of Kerala and India, tea plantations, and Hinduism. We made several stops and got to try local sweets – highly recommended!

She went with us to two different Taylors and in the end advised us to call a Taylor who came to the homestay. She bargained with him and we got the local prices. She helped us organizing our trip to the backwaters (local tour). Tess never asked for extra charges even though she was so invested in our trip to be a great one. the communication was excellent. We are very happy by this sweet encounter and can very much highly recommend staying at the homestay.
