It was 10 times the value of a hotel or the like in the area. It was -15 outside and we were toasty in the yurt. The beds were the best I slept on in the country. The breakfast was good and checked all the boxes. I selfishly wanted more omelets/waffle hot bar options, but the breakfast was beyond good, and this was one of very few places that actually included breakfast with the hotel, so I will give their breakfast a 10/10 as well. Location was perfect too for both Aurora Viewing (we saw a massive aurora on 11/22/24) and we were right next to Geysir and waterfalls. We could see the glacier from the front porch. Very private yurts too! My pictures are of the aurora we saw from the front door of the Yurt. You can easily see them from these. I also included an indoor picture and one of the grounds.

So cozy and after a long day of sight seeing with our son it was such a relief to arrive here. My only regret is not staying longer.

You got everything, spacious room, comfy bed, washing machine with dryer. All the kitchen utensils, equipment. Quiet place, nice and very clean room, parking right in front. Haven't actually met the host, but she always replied quickly. So I have no problem here.

We really loved our stay. The attention to details was incredible. Usually when the breakfast is offered, it can be quite disappointing but the breakfast here was amazing. The bed was very comfortable, the host was friendly and the experience was truly one of a kind. We also enjoyed the location as it is very close the the golden circle attractions. I would love to come back and watch the aurora borealis through the yurt's ceiling.
