It was 10 times the value of a hotel or the like in the area. It was -15 outside and we were toasty in the yurt. The beds were the best I slept on in the country. The breakfast was good and checked all the boxes. I selfishly wanted more omelets/waffle hot bar options, but the breakfast was beyond good, and this was one of very few places that actually included breakfast with the hotel, so I will give their breakfast a 10/10 as well. Location was perfect too for both Aurora Viewing (we saw a massive aurora on 11/22/24) and we were right next to Geysir and waterfalls. We could see the glacier from the front porch. Very private yurts too! My pictures are of the aurora we saw from the front door of the Yurt. You can easily see them from these. I also included an indoor picture and one of the grounds.

This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. Perfect location for those who prefer quieter places. Wonderful owners, very rich breakfast, clean bathrooms with all you need! And place to see Aurora even in May!!! 👍

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. The rooms were really nice and we were able to see the northern lights just outside. Perfect!

One of the best accommodations that we ever stayed in!

We were really happy with this cosy and comfortable cabin. It is spacious, good equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice hot tub and a beautiful view. Really recommend it

Feel cozy, like-home, well-decorated and full kitchen-function with a lot of space, good location near golden circle but private, not too crowded. The owner was very nice and friendly.
