The yurt offers everything you need and is super cozy and warm. The floor heating is the best! The beds were comfy and the breakfast in the morning was tasty! The shared showers were clean. We got super lucky and saw the Northern lights both nights we stayed here. Best views! Recommend staying here for 2 days if you can, so much to see in the surrounding area.

We loved everything. The place is beautiful, very cozy, with a lot of charm & beautiful views in the room as well as the whole house. The common kitchen is super nice, well equipped, and a good place to talk with Anna. Breakfast was wonderful. And, there is a hot tub for guests.

This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. Super cozy and tourist friendly countryhouse, within meters from one of the main roads, but immersed in the nature. The staff was super friendly and willing to help, and there are many subtle touches to make the most out of your stay in that part of the island. Very good breakfast as well

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. I loved the location in the peaceful countryside. I liked simplicity and spacious facilities. Farm animals and family business with some long family history adds to the atmosphere of the place. They serve good ice cream too.

The communication from booking and right through our stay was brilliant from Dmitrii and Ögmundur. The cabin itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. It’s located next to a restaurant but yet still isolated enough to enjoy your own company. The hot tub while surround by snow is surreal. I cannot fault this property one bit. We will be back and have been sharing the property details with our friends and families since we returned home.

I read reviews before booking and all the complaints (like there used to be no kitchen towels) were fixed (there is one now!) - and I think it shows that the hosts care. It was warm and cozy.
