The property is non-smoking and is set 9 km from Myvatn Nature Baths. Clearly the best stay we had in Iceland. This is a truly lovely house where you immediately feel part of a family. We were delighted by the warm reception and the cozy, homely atmosphere. The location by the lake is stunning, offering beautiful views. In summer there are many midges, which can be a bit annoying, but that’s the trade-off for such a scenic lakeside setting. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped—you’ll find everything you need, and even some thoughtful extras like coffee and pasta left for guests. It really felt like staying at our grandparents’ home, full of comfort and warmth. A very strong recommendation, especially if you are traveling as a family. We absolutely loved it.

Really nicely appointed with an enormous kitchen with everything you would need. ( except for a microwave which was surprising) Only 4 rooms so heaps of space.

Very comfortable apartment that was perfect for us travelling with adult children. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful view, sometimes sheep are around the apartment which is lovely. Staff was nice and supportive. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Little limited space for the luggage but manageable.
