Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. Great location, friendly host Joanna who explained everything on our arrival. Really nicely appointed with an enormous kitchen with everything you would need. ( except for a microwave which was surprising) Only 4 rooms so heaps of space.

Overlooking Lake Mývatn, this camping site offers cottages with wooden floors, a private bathroom and a terrace. Very spacious and comfortable.

Everything about this homestay was amazing, the location ,bird sanctuary, amazing colours of the plants all around the house, Beautifully decorated inside and out, you could not but love staying in this beautiful homestay, We had beautiful freshly baked bread waiting when we arrived, This is a must stay if you are visiting Myvatn, There was 4 of us staying and we all loved loved it, Lovely balcony.

Aska cottage is absolutely wonderful. Very cozy , everything clean and very well thought out . Kitchen very nice and came in very handy . We even had a barbeque outside Location is amazing . You have a beautiful view of the lake and church Bathroom very clean and beautiful I was amazed by how much you can achieve in that small cottage . And everything is neat and carefully done . The cottage is a little gem near lake Myvatn. And I would have stayed longer if possible . It is quite an expensive place but you also get a high-quality cottage in a beautiful location

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Everything was super fine, Elda and her family are lovely and so kind. We really felt at home sipping hot choccolate watching the Northen Lights directly from our window! It's been special and Elda is a special human as well :)

The breakfast was a typical Icelandic breakfast. They had little extras though like homemade rhubarb and orange lemon jam. Also they had a tea that was made from a herb that is found around there.

Situated by Lake Mývatn, this guest house offers basic rooms with shared facilities. The Mývatn Nature Baths is a 10-minute drive away. Great place to stay. Perfect location. Very clean cozy and comfortable. Totally recommend it!
