As a solo traveler, having positive interactions with hosts feels important. The host of this property welcomed me warmly and was so helpful and kind throughout my very short stay. I only stayed one night, with an early flight out, and the host ordered a taxi for me the night before which reduced a lot of my stress. The location is right by the airport, which is why I chose it. To all those on a budget, keep in mind - taxis in Iceland seem to be much more expensive than other places, and it cost $30 for a 10 minute ride to and from the airport. Public transportation didn’t work for my timing. In terms of the property, it is extremely clean, modern, and a perfect stay for a short night as a solo traveler. The host allowed me to use her fridge to store food, and was very accommodating all around. The room was small but served its purpose. Would definitely recommend!

Location super close to Keflavik airport and late checkout hour made it the best choice for our group of six for the night before our flight back home. The apartment is very clean and modern, with some cool surprises appreciated especially by IT geeks from our group. It has a great sauna, well equipped kitchen, all in a perfect state. And the host was very welcoming and attentive. We wished we could have stayed longer!
