The apartment is very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need — it even has a slow cooker and a rice cooker, which is very convenient. We also really appreciate the attention to small details — the curtain in the shower booth to keep dry area dry, the mirror outside the bathroom (so you can do your makeup while someone else is taking a shower), plenty of power outlets including an extra extension cord in the bedroom. Even though the room is on the second floor (this is informed clearly when booking), so carrying luggage upstairs can be a bit tiring, but the staircase is wide and not steep so it is not that hard. The code for the key box and check-in instructions were sent before arrival, and it was very easy to access the apartment. The view of Kirkjufell from every windows is superb!

All amenities were available. Check in instructions were clear. The host was very responsive whenever we reached out for any assistance. Although we did not check in early but they accommodated our request when we raised one. Kirkjufell's view from one of the rooms is just out of this world! Totally recommended. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Kleifar: Ocean View Apartment encontra-se em Hellissandur, na região de Vesturland, e tem uma varanda e vista do jardim. The apartment is spatious and very functional. A lot of kitchenwear, incl a good coffee machine, CDs, books, etc. The deck on the ocean is beautiful, at high tide we were regularly visited by a couole of Grey seals, but it was a nice spot to look at birds (Eiders with chicks, Artic terns, various gulls incl glaucous, redshank, starling, etc etc). The position is great to visit the central/western part of the peninsula.

Uma Guesthouse muito acolhedora e muito confortável. A cama era muito boa e a casa de banho também. Têm uma pequena área de refeição (sem cozinha) onde têm tudo o que é necessário para comer e ainda oferecem chocolate em pó para chocolate quente e chá (existe uma chaleira para aquecerem uma água. A localização é excelente, a 3 minutos a pé de um supermercado e a 3 minutos do farol, onde vi dos melhores pores do sol da minha vida. 10/10

This was best experience in Iceland first of all from hospitality point of view as well as history of the place, which hosts are proud to share. This has beecome an example of how heart, love to your country, strive for perfection can transform an old farm into super modern fascility reminding you of the history of the place. Not mentioning super views on fjord and complete tranquility and quietness of the place. The highlights: - welcome - story of the place, how the renovation happenned, introduction to the concept - all that makes you much better humanly connected compared to very convenient but very 'automatic' keys pick up via safe - design and concept - made by some famous local buroe there is a clear thinking behind. We were staying in what used to be garage and each room was named after a tracktor keeping the colors, i.e. John Deere will be green room, etc. - attention to details - great common area, living room, nice messages here and there, pizza to buy should you don't want to move etc. - great location - which with all honesty get us scared as you need to get to gravel road and drive couple of kilometers in the middle of nowhere, being rewarded by the view to die for - spotless.... just spotless:) - homemade specialties - caked and jam from the family, some other local food - advise on sight-seing highlights of Snæfellsnes Highly recommend!
