A very quaint and sensitively restored property housing the oldest continuously operating bookshop in Iceland with a suite of three rooms above sharing breakfast and bathroom facilities. Stuffed with antiques and a completely authentic 1960s or maybe 50s kitchen. The refrigerator is loaded with excellent quality breakfast goodies that you can help yourself to. The staff are simply wonderful. You must visit the bookshop on your visit, it is one of the most stylish and thoughtful shops in Iceland, possibly Europe.

The holiday home includes 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a hot tub and a shower, a seating area, and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven. Towels and bed linen are featured in the holiday home. The property has an outdoor dining area. Perfection! We booked this place for the hot tub and it didn't disappoint. There are 4 or 5 other cottages but the distance between them and fencing means that you still feel secluded. Inside the cottage was clean, the bed was comfortable and the alcove and curtain for the bed made it very cosy. But we spent most of our waking time outside - either in the hot tub or sitting on the veranda. Each cottage looks slighlty different (we were in the blue one) but I'm sure any would give you a brilliant stay

It is absolutely one of our favorite places to stay in Iceland. Set in a gorgeous central location, this cozy cottage is a great base for exploring all that the stunning Snæfellsnes Peninsula has to offer. The Wifi is strong, the kitchen well appointed and the beds are comfy. Communication with the hosts was perfect and check in and check out very easy. Not that I wanted to check out. We were ready to move in! Looking forward to our next stay!

The holiday home has a picnic area and a hot tub. The location was really cool and the facilities were great. The house was very spacious which was nice for our family of 5 travelling. We did not follow the spa instructions and as a result the it was super hot, I would recommend following the instructions provided in the house
