The home is brand new, very clean and comfortable, just what we needed after a whole day on the road. Even though it was 38C outside, the AC was working wonderful and we slept like babies.

The entire area is very well maintained, with plenty of beautiful, shady, and cozy spots— hammocks included! The outdoor pool is clean and inviting, featuring massage jets and a dedicated baby area, which was perfect for our family. There is also a large outdoor playground. The mobile homes are practical and spotless, and despite their small size, they surprisingly offer a lot of storage space. We felt very comfortable as a family of four. The breakfast was fantastic, with freshly squeezed orange juice, excellent cappuccino, and a variety of options including the usual sweet Italian breakfast with delicious homemade cakes, as well as ham, cheese, and yogurt. Overall, a lovely place to relax and enjoy!

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect — very comfortable beds, air conditioning, and everything you could wish for. Breakfasts were delicious and way beyond our expectations. The hostess, Erika, was incredibly kind, and even though I don’t speak Italian and she doesn’t speak English, we had no problem understanding each other. We couldn’t be happier with our choice!

She was flexible about our arrival time, and was very patient with our Italian. Beyond that Giusi was a sincerely welcoming host, generous with her time and friendliness. She is indeed a “sweet aunt”, not a sour one. We highly recommend this listing, and exploring the area around the Po delta. The breakfast was mighty fine, too!

What made our visit even more remarkable was the chance to meet the two extraordinary hosts, Donna Elaine Avanzo and her daughter Maria Adelaide Avanzo. Their warmth, brilliance, and genuine passion for the estate and its history shine through in everything they do. They embody both pride in their heritage and a deep sense of responsibility toward the local community, which is truly inspiring. Every corner of Tenuta Ca’Zen reflects elegance and authenticity, yet it feels welcoming and alive. It is rare to find such a place where history and hospitality are so beautifully intertwined. We left feeling enriched, inspired, and deeply grateful for the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something beyond a typical hotel stay — Tenuta Ca’Zen is an experience of the heart and mind.
