We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we left with a heavy heart. The hotel has been designed beautifully, a good size bedroom (6) with a wonderful view and a large and very functional bathroom. Matteo and his staff were all excellent and the location is ideal in Cannobio, at the quiet end of this charming town.

Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

It had a fully-equipped kitchen, a washing machine and all the necessary conveniences for a longer stay. There is a lift, which is super convenient. The apartment is located right in the center with shops and eateries just outside the doorstep. The host was lovely too and very prompt in communication.

Our friendly hosts gave very good communication. Arriving by public transport, the accommodation was easy to find and ideally situated for our needs. It's close to bus stops, ferries, good restaurants, and shops. The flat itself is nicely decorated and offers a restful atmosphere, insulated from street noise. Breakfast food is provided and there's a small kitchen. Thank you, Roberto and Claudia, for a lovely stay. We would gladly stay here again!
