From the time we were in touch with the property staff before our arrival to the minute we left, we were very impressed. We wondered if the location (just outside the town walls) was going to cause any issues but everything was within walking distance-restaurants, historic sights etc. The room and bathroom were very spacious, quiet and very comfortable. We were especially impressed with the staff's hospitality and charm -thank you again Antonella! There is a lovely breakfast selection that is set up with a great deal of care. This property exceeded our expectations and I highly recommend it.

Located in the Lucca medieval walls, L'Iris offers bright rooms with free WiFi throughout. Every morning guests can enjoy breakfast, served Italian and Continental style. What a fabulous find! Perfect location for shopping in one direction, bars in the other direction. Super friendly and helpful host with recommendations on places to visit, restaurant suggestions and just a wonderful attitude. Amazing breakfast. Comfortable room. Would totally stay here again!

Villa Romantica Wellness & SPA is located in an Art Nouveau building near the ancient walls in Lucca. All rooms have free Wi-Fi access, an LCD TV, and DVD player. Staff was extremely helpful throughout the experience. Very flexible and transparent. The property is relatively small but full of charm and quality details

Lucca in Villa is a building of the early 20th century, surrounded by a garden and located just a 10-minute walk from Lucca historic centre. Parking is free. We loved everything about this B&B from start to finish. It's location, which is just outside the city walls was perfect for us and only a 5 min walk into Luca itself. The building and gardens were beautifully kept. The breakfast was delicious and served either in the garden or in the small breakfast room. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was large and comfortable but the main asset to this property is Luca the owner/manager. He was absolutely fantastic and the perfect host. He is the life and soul of this property and you can see he takes great pride in what he does. He collected us from the train station, gave us useful information about the area, served our breakfast every morning and was always on hand to answer any questions. We were sad to have to say goodbye and very much hope to stay with him again. Do not hesitate to stay here - You will not regret it! Thank you Luca

Paola was incredibly helpful and responsive. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches like orthopedic pillows, Alexa, and a welcome bottle of wine. The bike room with plenty of bikes was a great bonus. Even though it’s just outside the city walls, it was a perfect and peaceful stay.

The breakfast of fresh fruit (home grown blackberries), cereals , pastries and awesome coffee was provided with a smile and a chat from the owner Giacomo. Highly recommend a stay at this lovely B & B and a very quiet Lucca (compared to mad Rome). The shared large outside patio was great for a drink in the cool after a hot summer's day We greatly appreciated that Giacomo gave us a lift to train station Can not thank him enough !!! and got the train on time !!
