Helpful host who recommended a fabulous place for a meal that she frequents. One of our best accommodation stops in the past five weeks in Italy.

Aretusa Vacanze is located in a completely renovated 17th-century building at the centre of Syracuse's Ortygia Island. It offers self-catering rooms. Great location, in the heart of Ortigia. Spacious and clean room. The room had a kitchenette and a fridge. We took breakfast at the terrace on the roof, where we could view the sea. Stefano was a great host, advising us about restaurants and boat trips.

Yes, it is a bit far from Origia or city center of Syrakuzy (20-25 minutes on foot), but apartment is absolutely worth it and I would choose it again! Nice balcon in a quite backyard.
