The hotel features a public bath, a karaoke room and free WiFi at the lobby. The staff was amazing, kind, and attentive. The view is great. We saw the deer from our window. Dinner and breakfast are amazing. The whole experience was great. Thank you so much. Pura vida!!

The hotel offers public and private hot baths and a free shuttle to/from Miyajima Ferry Terminal. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. Our room was spacious and very authentic Japanese while also being very comfortable. The view over the bay was amazing. The dining experience was unforgettable and our dietary requirements (vegetarian) were perfectly catered too. The private bath was also a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even by Japanese standards. Overall, we were sad that we only booked one night here.

Our room with Torii view was stunning, in japanese traditional style but with all necessary technologies and big tv. The dinner (all oysters) was good quality, but don't worry if you don't like them, they re gonna contact you and ask if you want to change with another menu. Perfectly clean, the position is a bit "up" the village but 2 minutes from the area to be visited, and no problem for arrival and departure, as mentioned. For the onsen they give you lovely yukata and all other accessories. The price is correct for this service.

All the amenities were spot on, and even the shared bathroom was really clean. Koji was super helpful too. The island is beautiful and really well set up for tourists had an awesome time!

Jock is a wonderful host, very giving with his time and tips. Made us takoyaki, which was yum!!! Parents found the chairs a bit hard (used to a sofa :) ), but it was fine. Location was fine, ten mins to at least 2 supermarkets and maybe 15 mins to main train station - easy to walk.

This was a beautiful room, very attractive design, spacious and in a perfect area for touring Kurashiki. It is exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable and everything was immaculate. Check in was easy. Good communication with hosts, and restaurant recommendations, which was helpful. It’s not a hotel per se, and so no meals included but they provided a basket of fruit and baked goods daily and coffee, so that was perfect for breakfast. It was all we needed. The seating area has a good view over the canal so you could not be better situated.
