Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! The house and the facilities were amazing. I had to admit that I did not have the chance to enjoy them as they should due to my travel schedule, but next time I come to Japan on holidays I will spend at least a couple of nights here. Also the staff was very friendly.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. The hotel features a public bath, a karaoke room and free WiFi at the lobby. A must to visit! Service was perfect. They pay attention to every detail and this makes you feel as you are in the best place you could ask for in Miyajima. The room was clean, the food was really great (not only the taste, but also how it was presented). Totally recommended!!!

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. The hotel offers public and private hot baths and a free shuttle to/from Miyajima Ferry Terminal. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. The Ryokan is very close to the Itsukushima Shrine and the Momijidani Ropeway. So its very convenient to visit the Shrine at 6.30, return for breakfast and then head to the ropeway which begins service by 9.00. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, especially the vegetarian meal. It is a short walk away from the ferry terminal, but the Ryokan offers a shuttle service for pick-up and drop.

I arranged a special surprise with the hotel to propose to my girlfriend, initially disguised as a birthday gift with a room upgrade and room service dinner. This review is thus not representative for the room linked to this booking. However, I want to specifically praise the hotel staff, with a specific shout-out to Katagiri. They went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience and I cannot thank them enough! The view from the seaside rooms is amazing and the beds are very comfy, the traditional dinner is on point and the staff is just wonderful.

Owner was nice, room as advertised, comfortable bed, quiet neighbourhood, location convenient for Shimanami Kaido cyclists.

With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The great Torii is 600 metres away and Itsukushima Shrine Treasure Hall is 800 metres from the guest house. Whats not to like about this place. You have the entire place ro yourself, it's incredibly traditional in its style, the beds were very comfortable and the location whilst a small walk from the ferry terminal at Miyujima is awesome. Oh the breakfast was superb too, a mix of simplicity and tradition and a brilliant host too

Guests staying at this apartment have access to a patio. The property is 700 metres from Myoei-ji Temple, and within 700 metres of the city centre. The property has a brilliant location. It’s just on the outskirts of the Hondori covered shopping mall and entertainment district, so it’s quiet. The electric streetcar and subway stations are a short walk away. The Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Dome are also an easy walk away. Would definitely recommend this property for a couple, family or two couples. It does sleep 6ppl and there are amenities to cater for 6 ppl. The wet area (shower/bath) was exceptional and also doubles as a clothes drying room - so we were able to wash and dry our clothes with ease. Communication with the host was excellent! The instructions were clear and timely. If we were to ever visit this amazing city again, we would stay here again.
