Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Highlight of my trip, I wish we stayed 2 nights not just one. Great hospitality and wonderful facilities. Personally the futon was very comfortable since I prefer harder matress. A 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal, very close to the main attractions.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. Staff was amazing , what service , food exceptional , very traditional with all modern comfort

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Fantastic place to stay, the rooms were lovely and very traditional, and having dinner and breakfast included as part of the stay are truly wonderful additions to the experience. The view out of the hotel was an added bonus. The staff were very helpful and the morning lift to the ferry was greatly appreciated

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Great location, a pleasant 7 minutes walk from Shrine and ropeway. The last 1 minute is uphill but not onerous at all. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. They also spoke English. Amazing indoor and outdoor onsen which we made full use of. Big comfortable room with kettle and TV (YouTube app available). Enjoyed the Japanese meal and breakfast (food plentiful, make sure you arrive extremely hungry). Their slogan is “Your home in Miyajima” and it’s so true. So comfortable and they provide everything including yukatas. You could literally just turn up with a change of underwear and everything else is pretty much available (toothbrush, hairbrush, toner & moisturiser in the onsen bathroom).

So beautifully prepared and served. The hospitality is exceptional. We had bed warmers for the night and were sent on our way with hand warmers as the weather was cold.

We actually kinda booked this apartment by accident, but we absolutely love the room. Everything is clean, spacious and just like the pictures. The ammenities provided were really complete, and loved the comfortable bed & pillows. Good communication and clear instructions from the host as well. Definitely recommended!

The beds were extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. There’s a tram close by that takes you to the train station in just a few minutes. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Communication with the host was excellent—they responded immediately whenever we had a question. Great value for money.
