The room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The staff were friendly, helpful, and could communicate in basic English. There were accessible and detailed instructions for the public, private, and in-room Onsen. The 4 private outdoor Onsen (first come first serve) were lovely and peaceful. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious and filling. There are complimentary frozen snacks in the lounge area. Free shuttle bus service available upon request with the ryokan. We were fortunate to be added to the list last minute (the day before departure) from Jozankei to Sapporo, but would recommend contacting the Ryokan in advance to reserve. The public buses between Sapporo and Jozankei (e.g. 8J and 7J) can get quite crowded, which can make traveling with luggage challenging.

The apartment had everything we needed to cater to our stay , full sized kitchen with all the necessary appliances to cook a a meal or to heat up your take away foods. Highly recommended to stay if you don't mind the short walk to the Tanukikoji Shopping Street .

The house is super cozy and comfortable to stay. We love the design of the house. The owner keiko also very friendly and respond to our query before we check in. Owner very caring as preparing those needed amentities for ladies. The window from living hall n rooms can see outside snowing view. They also have place to park if you r self driving. Very good recommended place if u stay in furano as it also near to ningle terrace and furano ski resort and yuma and convenient for food.

Opopo home 堺町店 ligger i Otaru, 17 km fra Otarushi Zenibako City Center. Her er adgang til et boblebad. I feel so lucky to have found this place! It’s honestly the most spacious accommodation I’ve stayed in during my trip to Japan. Each floor (both the first and second) has its own bathroom and toilet, which made the stay super comfortable. The location is unbeatable — just steps away from Otaru Canal, dessert shops, sushi street, glass studios, and the music box museum — yet the house itself is tucked inside a quiet residential lane, so it’s peaceful and relaxing. The house also has a small kitchen. It’s not big and is shared with guests from another unit, but it’s fully equipped and very convenient. We sometimes made our own breakfast or heated up food we bought outside — everything worked perfectly. Each room has its own refrigerator, so that’s private, and only the stove is shared, which actually feels safer and more hygienic. I stayed here for three nights, slept incredibly well every night, and it really helped me adjust my jet lag. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Otaru!
