The hotel had a service apartment feel. There was a microwave oven in the room and there were many drawers in the new closets. There was also a guest lounge on the 7th floor and coffee is served there as well as in the waiting room on the ground floor. The gym was free to use and it was adequately equipped.

There is a kitchen so you can eat your meals at the guesthouse and don’t need to worry about finding food. They offer a shuttle to the nearest station and museum which was a great help as the guesthouse is a bit secluded in a quiet neighborhood. There are hiking trails nearby and would love to visit again and explore more of the area around the guesthouse.

Excellent stuff. Excellent experience. Room has really tiny walls however I was quite lucky with quiet neighbors. Also nice, quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

Featuring a terrace with views of Lake Ashi, Hakone・Ashinoko Hanaori offers a soothing hot spring bath and sauna. The property is situated a 2-minute walk from Togendai Station on Hakone Ropeway. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. When I asked the restaurant staff which items were Halal/Vegetarian/seafood, she asked a senior staff member who proceeded to explain each buffet item one by one to explain the ingredients and check if it suited my diet (not having pork or non-halal meats). Moreover, when knowing that my options were somewhat limited, the restaurant staff ensured to share with me the upcoming buffet items on the following days which did suit my diet. I already went to the hotel knowing that my options were limited, but the staff exceeded my expectations by ensuring that we were taken care of. It's worth noting that the food was delicious. They had a dedicated staff member taking family photographs of guests by the water terrace. these are just a couple of examples where staff members put the customers as their highest priority. We also loved the spotless clean rooms and facilities, various dedicated slippers available (hotel room slippers, hotel area sandals, bathroom sandals, private balcony/Onsen crocs). The vending machines, free coffee, gift/shop, proximity to public transportation were quite convenient too.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Really relaxed and not super particular. At the same time, a top class Ryokan with excellent food, service, rooms and private onsens. Also tons of old videogames and manga.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Loved the room & overall hotel facilities. I have lost my backpack; left it on the bus from hakone-yumoto stn to tenyu stn. The staff was very kind and helped me find the backpack by contacting the bus company. I appreciated it so much. Also 2 public bath were amazing!!! Would love to go back!

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. Easy to get to. Very nice personale. The room was spacious and the bed was great. Love the private onsen.

Khai trương vào tháng 06/2013, The Edo Sakura cung cấp phòng nghỉ trong căn nhà phố Machiya theo phong cách Nhật Bản. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff became like good friends. It felt like more than just a business; the place has heart. The baths were a wonderful option, relaxing and romantic. We absolutely love The Edo Sakura and will be staying there every time we visit Tokyo.

Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. I love the vibe of this place. It’s very friendly. The owner clearly likes people and he is very helpful. Everything is well planned and explained. You can get hot and cold water, or buy some food from the freezer and cook it using available microwaves. There is selection of cold drinks you can buy as well. You can get a yukata and some travel items for free (ear plugs, razors etc). Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice coffee and fresh bread in the morning. I used private bath and it was a very nice experience. If you are traveling with child you will feel comfortable here as well. I would highly recommend this place to other travelers.
