We picked this hotel because of its location (quiet residential area but at the same time close to various shops and well connected to the main tourist areas by bus and subway). The best part was the availability of the staff: we made a mistake with our booking and they were able to help us out and save our trip. Thank you for everything, and we will be back once we return to Kyoto.

Conveniently located in central Kyoto, Ryokan KANADE offers a Japanese-style garden. We had an amazing time at Ryokan Kanade! The team was so polite and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious and kindly served. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bonus is the garden view, definitely worth to take a walk there. The only regret we have that the open air bath was fully booked, so we could not use it during our stay. Hope to come back!!

Featuring an on-site public hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant, Yuno Yado Shoei is located an 8-minute walk away from JR Tambaguchi Station. Exceptional place with a great public bath. I don't recommend the breakfast option if you haven't tried Japanese breakfasts before.

Luck You Kyoto offers accommodation in Kyoto. Free luggage storage is available. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The vibes in this were immaculate. The floor had heating. The scenes were picturesque. There was an onsen. Staff were really nice and helpful. Close to the bus stop and a lot of restaurants in the area. Would absolutely recommend if you can pay the price!

The room was very comfortable, and the location was excellent. The team at the Ryokan were very welcoming and briefed us on the facilities at the hotel and nearby. The map given at the time of check-in had information about nearby attractions and restaurants, and was very helpful.

Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. Wonderful staff and facilities.

Kevin did an extraordinary job by helping and informing us about our first time in Kyoto. He speaks English and helped us to find some cultural events around the city and which sights are worth seeing or not. In the end he drove us even to the station for FREE. The guesthouse looks very cute from the outside and is located right next to a small river which looks great in the nightly hours. Furthermore, the room is new, modern and offers a beautiful stay for using the wooden bath as an onsen.
