The location is convenient to the train station and a bus stop from where a route goes past the Ise Shrine, and about a 30 minute walk to the Meoto Iwa. The hosts were informative and kind, and helpfully picked us up from the train station as well as dropped us off. Would love to stay there again.

Very nice and well maintained traditional guest house. The host and staff are very friendly and helpful. Normally they prepare some hot drinking water in a thermal bottle in your room but i finished it overnight, so I was asking for refill in the first morning. When I came back the same evening, they even put the whole big thermal kettle for me in my room so I could drink hot water as much as i needed, so thoughtful! (it was a cold week)

The host was incredibly welcoming and the food was amazing. We arrived after dark in the town from our hiking trip and she waited for us in the car along the path to pick us up. Next day she even prepared a small lunch for us to take on our hike. Highly recommended!

Staying at Tennyoza was an incredible and unique experience. Shiho is an amazing host, and kindly drove us to and from the train station. Tennyoza has amazing views of the ocean and a lot of personality. But the real highlight was enjoying the sunrise while listening to Shiho play her wonderful music. She also treated us to another small concert in the morning where we met Ku-Chan (her owl). She is an amazing artist and we felt really privileged to witness her play. I would highly recommend it to everyone and especially for those who appreciate music. 😊

We stayed there specifically because we were planning a whole day at Nagashima Spa Land. It was close and easy to get to and from the park by bus. It was spacious and the facilities were good. We were beyond grateful for the washer/dryer.
