Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. The hospitality of the staff, they are so nice and welcoming.

Located right in front of Matsushima Bay, Komatsukan Kofu-tei offers accommodations with free wired internet access. We loved our room with a beautiful view to the little islands. Everything was superb organised, the people so helpful and friendly. We liked especially the nice driver who picked us up from the station an even run after me when I forget my phone at the reception. Cheers to him! :) The room was perfect, we slept on tatami mats. And so was the japanese breakfast. We highly recommend! The private bath is gorgeous, but also the public Onsen within the hotel. You get a nice kimono in your room to were within the house. The nice welcome with matcha tea and the drink buffet during the afternoon is a very nice service. We learned the hard way that one have to reserve dinner well in advance. You cannot have it spontaneously. But we got very nice help by the receptionist as he called a restaurant where we rushed by taxi to be in time for the last order. It was a great stay!

The aesthetic and location of the property were all top notch! It’s only accessible by car so do take note! We went for a stay here in winter and although there could be more heating, I found myself really loving the whole atmosphere and vibe of the property. The owner was also extremely friendly and helpful, even helping us shovel snow off the driveway and even our car! I can’t help but sing high praises for this property and I would definitely return in the future! Thank you for the amazing stay!

The two people running this were lovely 💕 I had a great stay. Great super market nearby, which had good quality products to eat in the evening. Also, a short morning walk to visit Cat Island in the morning and then I visited the Manga Musuem. The room itself was clean, large and Japanese style, which I enjoyed. One of my favorite stays in 30 days of being in Japan.
