Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Basic food was also provided due to the location which is an exceptional service.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. The hotel features a public bath, a karaoke room and free WiFi at the lobby. This was easily one of the best - if not the best - hotel experience I have ever had in my life! The staff was super friendly, took care of our baggage while we went sightseeing (they even offered us umbrellas!) and then came to get us in the evening to bring us to the hotel. The included dinner and breakfast were amazing, it really was a luxurious experience! The onsen accepted tatoos so another plus. The seaside view was beautiful even if the weather was not ideal.

We stayed only one night to get to see the island of Miyajima a bit more, and staying here was such a nice experience. In particular, the dinner at the hotel was so special and delicious! You need to message them to make the reservation some days in advance, but they were always very responsive. The facilities of the hotel were really great: the public baths, the rooftop terrace, the footbath café. Finally, the staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

BHOTEL Kaniwasou 301 Minute walk from Miyajima Pier for 11ppl has a patio and is set in Miyajima, within just 800 metres of Five Storey Pagoda and less than 1 km of Itsukushima Shrine. This property is situated a short distance from attractions such as Museum of History and Folklore, Itsukushima Shrine Treasure Hall, and Shiraito Falls. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Tsutsumigaura Beach is 2.3 km away. Brilliant location, huge apartment with loads of space, huge kitchen, nice views. Really loved being able to see the Tori at night time and while tide was out.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was a real highlight — the salmon in particular was delicious. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and communicated well in English, which made everything smooth and stress-free. I truly loved every part of our stay. 100% recommend!
