We were only there one night and paid to have an evening meal there. Four courses cooked by the owner, all locally sourced, delicious! Highly recommend this place. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the hiking in the nearby national park.

It is a 7-minute walk to Takachiho Shrine and a 6-minute drive to Takachiho-kyo Gorge. Guests can use WiFi property-wide for free. It’s beautifully decorated and we love both the outdoor and indoor onsens!! The food is fantastic as well!! Service staff spoke some English and all very professional and helpful. I love the location as well. Very central and so close to everything!

The neighborhood was very quiet and safe and we loved waking up and sleeping to that silence and sounds of waves and birds. It's also within 15min driving to supermarkets and everything you need. The hostess met us to explain the house rules, where everything is and how to use everything, perfect host!
