The property had a large barbecue area that was completely dedicated to us, which made our evenings extra special and relaxing. The washrooms and toilets were spotless and very well-maintained, adding to the comfort of our stay. Every aspect of the place was thoughtfully designed to ensure a fantastic experience. We loved everything about our visit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway near Mount Fuji. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent dinner, listed as buffet (with lot of variety and even lot of alcohol variety), good breakfast. Beautiful view of the lake from the lobby. Coffee machine and chocolates in the lobby. Parking. Large room. Good public onsen. Overwall one of the better hotels we stayed in in Japan.

It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. Amazing experience of a traditional ryokan. The staff was excellent, kind and helpful at all times, rooms were clean and tidy, ours had an amazing view of the lake. You can use most of the facilities for free with some additional ones having a fee. We chose the included dinner and breakfast option, dinner was an amazing experience full of flavors and textures we were not used but definitely liked. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet style, but with both Japanese and western options. In terms of location, I think it’s really good depending on what you want to visit. It is just in front of the lake, and has the red line (i think) bus stop right in front of it, which we used to get there from the train station and to get to other tourist spots around the lake. There’s a lawson just outside, the boat ride in the lake and the panoramic ropeway are also just a few minutes walk away which was very convenient.

Exceptional property and well worth what we paid for it. Amazing views from the onsen (public and shared with other hotel guests, but both times we used it there was nobody there. Quite a private experience and it was great to watch the sun set!) The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious and the experience was one we’ll never forget. The staff picked us up at Kawaguchiko station and brought our bags straight to our room after check in. We enjoyed the tea and snack while soaking in the views.10/10 would visit again!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Excellent place to stay and relax. Each of the rooms have an outdoor onsen bath, and an indoor wet room with a bathtub and shower. The futons are placed on tatami mats. You are provided pajamas to sleep and Yukata to walk around the Ryokan and the area if you want to. The dinner and breakfast are Kaiseki style.

The holiday home with a balcony and quiet street views features 3 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and 1 bathroom with a bidet. Towels and bed linen are featured in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Beautiful scenery. Beautiful house. Nice, friendly and helpful host. Worth every yen.

The air-conditioned holiday home consists of 4 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a kettle, and 1 bathroom with a bidet and bathrobes. The unit at the property features a bath and a dressing room. This holiday home is allergy-free and non-smoking. We were two families, total of 7 people with two elementary school age kids, staying for just a Saturday night to explore the five lakes by car. Our stay was perfect. Downstairs there is a lovely Japanese style dining/tea room, a living area with two sofas, a big kitchen with everything you might need, a huge bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs are the bedrooms and another toilet. The views from the bedroom windows were beautiful. Everything was very clean and in good condition. The town centre is a short walk away, as is the train station.
