The owners are the nicest people ever, they helped us with car rental issues, with booking programs, recommended nice places to visit and suggested the best local restaurant, called Hama! The place is wonderful, brand new, super clean, perfectly equipped, comfy beds, nice kitchen and an awesome rooftop terrace. You need a car in Ishigaki anyways, so the location with car is perfect, away from the touristy city in a quiet lovely area, few minutes drive from Kabira bay and the secluded beaches! A well maintained garden with patio, sea shell decorations and a passion fruit tree:) Absolutely recommend the place!

Fantastic host, super helpful, kind and welcoming! Overall extremely comfortable for a hostel, with all the facilities you need in great condition. Having bikes available (regular ones are free) was SUCH a nice bonus, it literally made my trip. I could get around easily (you do need to like biking) including going to the city, or to nearby beaches, or even to much further places.

No centro de Naha, KOHALA HOTEL está a 1,7 km de Naminoue Beach e a cerca de 4,5 km de Mausoléu Tamaudun. The hotel staff were excellent, and their hospitality was warm. The lady staff member spoke English very well, so I could communicate with her easily. She was also very helpful.
