We can see angel road just in front of the apartment, although the weather is not good. The kitchen is well-equipmented so we bought food from the supermarket nearby, but we didn’t know if the kitchen's bowls and plates can be used in the microwave. We stayed here for one night just like our home. We left our phone in the room. Thank you to the host for quickly answering the call and giving us the pin code to enter.

Lovely little house set above the road with a level lawn and view across the Seto Inland Sea. Everything inside was new. The beds super comfy. Great place to stay when exploring the island by car.

Kikuya Ryokan nằm ở Tonosho, cách Saiko-ji Temple 16 phút đi bộ và Catholic Shodoshima Church 1.5 km. I highly recommend this inn! The innkeeper, Miya, grew up in this house and knows Shodoshima intimately. A stay here will give you a wonderful sense of how a traditional Japanese home feels. The tatami rooms are so comfortable. I was able to fully recuperate after some exhausting travel. Miya could not be more accommodating and kind to her guests. She will give you many recommendations and guidance to experience this island. This is truly the best place I stayed in Japan for this kind of hospitable experience. It’s very close to the Tonosho station as well.
