Clean stay with the friendliest host. We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

We really enjoyed our experience at Onyado Yonousho! The room had an amazing size and had a beatiful view on the river with the snow falling. the facility is pretty big and has many rooms with additional activities

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. The people working there are both friendly, helpful and caring, it felt like they had a genuine intrest in their guests. The common areas are clean and cosy with a relaxed vibe, and when I was there the guests interacted with each other so you could get to know new people if you wanted to. The place was also in walking distance to both the bus station, old part of town and to a shopping mall with a proper supermarket. If you dont want to walk, there is a 7/11 right next door, or there is the possibility to buy food and coffee at the place. If I come back to Takayama I would choose to stay here again

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. The place is absolutely beautiful. By far one of the nicest hotels I've been in. Every detail is well thought of, and the location near Takayama Old city is great.

Location was amazing- walking distance from the station and from the old town. The place was beautiful, and the rooms had everything. Futons were very comfy. The onsen was the best I tried so far (but I haven’t tried a lot). We did the private bath, and it was really nice. They also lend you yukatas to wear around the ryokan. And the staff were very friendly, hospitable and helpful!

يقع Ryokan Hostel K's House في مبنى ثقافي مسجل عمره 100 عام في شيزوكا على بعد 7 دقائق سيرا على الأقدام من محطة قطار JR Ito. Beautiful and comfortable room and common room, friendly staff, nice onsen!

يقع Miyama Ouan في جبال هيدا الهادئة، ويوفر أماكن إقامة تقليدية تتميز بحمامات ينابيع ساخنة وإطلالات على الطبيعة. Excellent: beautiful location, amazing staff, great service and excellent facilities. Definitely our best stay in Japan. No low prices, but certainly worth it!

يقع مكان إقامة "The Nomad Inn Gujo" في حي Gujo Hachiman في غوجو على بُعد 46 كم من Gero Station، و100 م من Rensho-ji Temple، و100 م من Joinji Temple. Host Masahiro, an easy going person and quick to respond to all queries. Nestled in the old district and within distance to all attractions in Gujo. However the stairway going up to the bedrooms is steep and a challenge to older folks. Otherwise a beautiful ryokan to experience Japanese living.
