The property had a large barbecue area that was completely dedicated to us, which made our evenings extra special and relaxing. The washrooms and toilets were spotless and very well-maintained, adding to the comfort of our stay. Every aspect of the place was thoughtfully designed to ensure a fantastic experience. We loved everything about our visit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway near Mount Fuji. We can’t wait to return!

Rakuyu is located a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Station, and a free pick-up shuttle is provided. Popular Fuji-Q Highland amusement park is a 10-minute drive away. Excellent dinner, listed as buffet (with lot of variety and even lot of alcohol variety), good breakfast. Beautiful view of the lake from the lobby. Coffee machine and chocolates in the lobby. Parking. Large room. Good public onsen. Overwall one of the better hotels we stayed in in Japan.

It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. Amazing experience of a traditional ryokan. The staff was excellent, kind and helpful at all times, rooms were clean and tidy, ours had an amazing view of the lake. You can use most of the facilities for free with some additional ones having a fee. We chose the included dinner and breakfast option, dinner was an amazing experience full of flavors and textures we were not used but definitely liked. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet style, but with both Japanese and western options. In terms of location, I think it’s really good depending on what you want to visit. It is just in front of the lake, and has the red line (i think) bus stop right in front of it, which we used to get there from the train station and to get to other tourist spots around the lake. There’s a lawson just outside, the boat ride in the lake and the panoramic ropeway are also just a few minutes walk away which was very convenient.

Exceptional property and well worth what we paid for it. Amazing views from the onsen (public and shared with other hotel guests, but both times we used it there was nobody there. Quite a private experience and it was great to watch the sun set!) The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious and the experience was one we’ll never forget. The staff picked us up at Kawaguchiko station and brought our bags straight to our room after check in. We enjoyed the tea and snack while soaking in the views.10/10 would visit again!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Staff, location and vibe were amazing. Highly recommend. A really layed back set up, but with all the comforts you need. Suggest stopping to get a fresh lobster and request the BBQ from the staff, was so good.

Towels and bed linen are featured in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The view of Mt Fuji from this place is very beautiful. The place is spacious and it’s very suitable for a family with younger kids. They have toys, complete tableware for kids. We spent five nights there.

The unit at the property features a bath and a dressing room. This holiday home is allergy-free and non-smoking. The house was modern, spacious and well equipped with a convenient and peaceful location. We could easily walk to the supermarket, the lake and the station. We loved the underfloor heating and the drying room upstairs. The 4 bedrooms were all a good size with lots of closet space and some nice views of Lake Kawaguchiko. The kitchen and bathroom were both clean and modern. The owner also responded quickly to us when we contacted him. There were 8 of us in our group and we all loved Kawaguchiko and our home away from home. Hope to be back in another season!
