I had an absolutely wonderful stay in Lamu! The location was incredibly accessible, making it easy to explore the area. Our host was fantastic — welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with any requests. The property was ideally situated near local amenities, so everything we needed was just a short walk away. Plus, there were so many activities to enjoy, from scenic walks around the island to boat rides and exploring the rich history of the area. It was truly a memorable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Lamu!

Apresentando vista da cidade, um terraço e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, Jua House situa-se em Lamu, a 5 minutos a pé de Praia de Shela e a 200 m de Mnarani House. Tivemos uma estadia longa e perfeita. Nosso quarto com varanda no último andar era confortável, iluminado, ventilado e silencioso. O café da manhã é delicioso e Samuel serve um bolo de especiarias inesquecível no café da tarde. Todos os funcionários são muito acolhedores e prestativos.

Com uma piscina e jardins tropicais, o Kijani Hotel está situado na costa da Ilha de Lamu, ao longo do Oceano Índico. A decoração inclui mobiliário feito à mão natural, lanternas e ornamentos. Kijani is a charming little hotel in Shela, well located to discover the village on foot, and the nearby islands by boat. It has everything one needs for a perfect holiday; provides a quiet and peaceful backdrop. We loved the flexibility of management (even with last minute issues), return boat transfers included in the price, amazing breakfast and restaurant. Fantastic staff (management, reception, cleaning team, restaurant, kitchen, guards, in short: EVERYONE): kind, attentive, all while being respectful of privacy. We have stayed elsewhere in Lamu and Kijani truly stands out. Thank you.

Mangrove House situa-se em Lamu e dispõe de acomodações em frente à praia, a alguns passos de Praia de Manda, e dispõe de várias comodidades, incluindo um jardim, uma área de praia privada e um... The locations is a gem. Away from the HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF LAMU. There is a great restaurant next door With delicious food and you can always pop over to Sheila (5 min boat ride) for some activity if you feel too quiet on the island 🏝️ 👍

Com vista da cidade, Andavelo House localiza-se em Lamu e possui um restaurante, serviço de transporte gratuito, bar, jardim, piscina exterior aberta todo o ano e terraço. This house is amazing, love the traditional decor and feel. The room was really big and spacious, fitted with fans to cool the room and Safari was really helpful with everything. I would 100% come back to stay here. The food was also really amazing thank you!

Apresentando um jardim, salão partilhado, terraço e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, Samaki House localiza-se em Lamu, a 2 minutos a pé de 18th Century Swahili House Museum e 300 m de Lamu Museum. Katana my host at Samaki House was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable of the area. We had lovely conversations and he made a delicious breakfast. I enjoyed the room and the my overall experience at the house, I will definitely stay again!

They served delicious breakfast for a nominal fee. Could have a warm shower. Enjoyed talking with owner. Very close to all the Lamu action. Owner had connections with others who could help with boat transfers to airport, town tours, boat race viewing etc

Situada apenas a 10 metros da beira-mar de Lamu, a Shella white house dispõe de um restaurante e de um alpendre no último piso com vistas panorâmicas para o Oceano Índico. Everything about being in Shella countless times, is my peace. Ambience, Ben was available to assist with anything needed, good hospitality. And not to mention how accessible it was, you will find everything you need within that space from shops to hotels , beach view and sunrise.

This historical Arabian-style building is located in the UNESCO-listed town of Lamu. It is less than 300 metres from the seafront and 3 km from the white sandy beach. Great location for exploring Lamu. The views from the balcony are stunning.
