The view from the rooftop tower is great, you can watch the sunrise, the breakfast is delicious, the room is very comfortable, and I had many great conversations with the owner in the evening. I hope the business will continue to improve.

Nosso quarto com varanda no último andar era confortável, iluminado, ventilado e silencioso. O café da manhã é delicioso e Samuel serve um bolo de especiarias inesquecível no café da tarde. Todos os funcionários são muito acolhedores e prestativos.

Com uma piscina e jardins tropicais, o Kijani Hotel está situado na costa da Ilha de Lamu, ao longo do Oceano Índico. A decoração inclui mobiliário feito à mão natural, lanternas e ornamentos. Beautiful location in Shela village, stunning gardens around the hotel and a short walk to Shela Beach which goes on forever. The restaurant at Kijani is amazing, better than Peponi! Definitely have the Kijani Crab Curry!

Shiban House localiza-se a 6 minutos a pé de Praia de Shela e fornece acomodações com um centro de fitness, um terraço e uma cozinha partilhada, para sua conveniência. The staff at this place were phenomenal - very attentive and went out of their way to ensure you had a comfortable stay not only at the property but in Lamu in general. Shout out to Joseph who did a particularly amazing job!

Our stay on Manda’s side at Mangrove House was truly wonderful. The location is unmatched, the peace and quiet are absolute. The staff is wonderful and so is the owner, super attentive and ready to help and share. The house is right in front of Shela and Peponi hotel, just a short boat trip away. Would absolutely go back, and recommend it to everyone going to Lamu!

They served delicious breakfast for a nominal fee. Could have a warm shower. Enjoyed talking with owner. Very close to all the Lamu action. Owner had connections with others who could help with boat transfers to airport, town tours, boat race viewing etc

Everything about being in Shella countless times, is my peace. Ambience, Ben was available to assist with anything needed, good hospitality. And not to mention how accessible it was, you will find everything you need within that space from shops to hotels , beach view and sunrise.

This historical Arabian-style building is located in the UNESCO-listed town of Lamu. It is less than 300 metres from the seafront and 3 km from the white sandy beach. Great location for exploring Lamu. The views from the balcony are stunning.
