JamboHouse is a great place to stay if you want to explore Lamu. It's in the middle of the Old Town and has a great terrace to relax and enjoy the views. Arnold is an amazing host and provides you with all the information you need to enjoy the city(restaurants, activities, transport etc.). The breakfast (banana pancakes is amongst the options!) was the best we had during our trip!

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is always available and welcoming. We have access to a wide range of activities and the hotel is well located, in the center of Shilla and a few minutes by walk from the beach.

Featuring a swimming pool and tropical gardens, Kijani Hotel is situated on the coast of Lamu Island, along the Indian Ocean. The décor comes with natural handmade furniture, lanterns and ornaments. the buildings and the grounds were beautiful. right on the water so the breeze kept things cool.

Our stay on Manda’s side at Mangrove House was truly wonderful. The location is unmatched, the peace and quiet are absolute. The staff is wonderful and so is the owner, super attentive and ready to help and share. The house is right in front of Shela and Peponi hotel, just a short boat trip away. Would absolutely go back, and recommend it to everyone going to Lamu!

From the beginning, Mr Safari and the team were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We loved how helpful Safari was from meeting us off the boat to personally escorting us to the airport. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. The dinner was excellent - we would highly recommend ordering the fresh crab!

Beautiful traditional guest house with all essential amenities, kept very clean and with wonderfully accommodating staff and owner, ready to go the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. My family and I had a wonderful stay. The family room is fantastic, with a lovely indoor terrace to accommodate active children.

Situated just 10 metres from the Lamu beachfront, Shella white house features a restaurant and a rooftop veranda with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Everything about being in Shella countless times, is my peace. Ambience, Ben was available to assist with anything needed, good hospitality. And not to mention how accessible it was, you will find everything you need within that space from shops to hotels , beach view and sunrise.

This historical Arabian-style building is located in the UNESCO-listed town of Lamu. It is less than 300 metres from the seafront and 3 km from the white sandy beach. Mohamed & staff were wonderful. The food was amazing.
