The rooms are stylish and spacious with a quality mattress, bath and shower with serious heat and water pressure. The kitchen is well kitted out for self-catering. The lounge is spacious. Rooms come with a terrace. One can BBQ on a grill. Breakfasts are hearty and generous: great coffee/tea, fresh breads, fresh fruit, pancakes/flapjacks/crumpets, crepes, eggs to order, yoghurts, juices, cereals... To top it off there's space, peace and quiet and a wonderful team that goes out of their way to make one feel at home.

It was a great place to rest for a day (after a long flight) before beginning our safari. We only wish we could've stayed longer! I could envision it being an excellent place for a writing retreat, too.

Surrounded by 1.5 acres of lush gardens, Karen Gables is situated in Karen, 1.8 km from Oloolua Nature Trail. It is built in Cape Dutch style. Free private parking is available on site. Amazing house, pool and garden. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The staff is very nice and service is perfect. The food was beyond expectations and very good. We had a memorable time at Karen Gables and one of the highlight of our trip.

The staff were absolutely amazing providing exceptional service and were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Mimosa Court Apartments is located just 500 meters from the Royal Nairobi Golf Club and within 2 km of Nairobi’s city centre. It features an outdoor pool and a fully-equipped fitness centre. The rooms were clean and spacious. The nice and very safe compound with swimming pool and fitness room. Exceptionally nice staff and guards. Location was very central. Possibility to order food and laundry.
