I booked this place because I wanted to be closer to the bay wetland reserve, not inside the city. That was a great choice! The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and answers questions very quickly (we used Whatsapp). The room was big, there is a kitchen part, a nice bathroom, a washing machine that works perfectly and she lets you borrow a drying rack if needed. Everything was clean and the bed super comfy (best one I've had during my whole trip!!). And if you open the window, you can hear birds singing... There is a bus station right next to the pension, just one line (66) but very convenient (max 30min from the train station for example). ETA are not always available and usually appear 10min before the bus comes, but you can check the past timetables on Naver Map which are relevant. There is an E-mart and a coffee place minutes away and a few restaurants (haven't tried any). It was rainy when I stayed there, but the room had a terrace with a barbecue you could use. If I manage to come back one day, I will definitely go there again 😊

I was very impressed by it, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy. The location is great, right by the ferry station and there’s a very nice and popular cafe around the corner. It’s also close enough to the cable cars, skywalk, and Yudal park if those are on your itinerary. Because it’s near the ocean there’s a chance of mosquitos but an electric lamp was provided in the rooms so we had absolutely zero problems. The bathroom is a little small but it’s alright for a few nights. Our room even had a fridge which I really liked and microwaves in the common area to use. Breakfast was a great bonus and a gave us a good start to our day but most of all, Mr. Kim is very kind and if you have any problems or questions he is more than happy to help!

The house was in an amazingly good shape with their traditional architectural style intact! While the bathrooms were not attached to the bedrooms because the house could not be remodeled to change the existing structure (as it is designated as a Protected Traditional House), each bedroom had an assigned private bathroom with a good shower and fancy amenities. This probably is the closest you can get living like a Josun Dynasty aristocrat in the modern day Korea. The owner lady was very helpful in providing tips for restaurants and things to do and see and very attentive to our comfort. While it is conveniently located (if you have a rental car) to explore the whole South Western provinces of Korea (UNESCO World Heritage Site tidal flats!), I thought that just staying in the house perched on the wooden floor looking out beautiful trees and drying persimmons with a book in hand itself was a huge treat. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything is top quality and clean! The host is super kind and caring and cooks up a beautiful breakfast! Gave us hotel recommendations too and even helped us with our laundry needs!

For context I am a solo female traveller who can speak only a little amount of Korean. I had left my large suitcase at my long term accommodation in Gwangju and just brought my backpack which definitely made things a lot easier. I had a beautiful stay, and after getting lost on the rural bus network getting here the host was quick to comfort me and offered to pick me up from my location. She made me feel so at home despite the language barrier, giving me food and starting the campfire where I stayed for over an hour with little Cookie the kitten purring on my lap. While it might take a little more thought and effort getting here it is certainly worth it for the serenity and hospitality you receive. The breakfast was also lovely. Nothing to fault about my stay, I hope you consider staying too :)

Tọa lạc ở Yeosu và chỉ cách Bãi biển Ungcheon Beach Park chưa đến 1 km, Ocean Top Marina cung cấp chỗ nghỉ nhìn ra biển, Wi-Fi miễn phí và chỗ đậu xe riêng miễn phí. The studio was great and very modern. It was also nice to have a small kitchen as we were staying of a few days.

Lotte Castle Marina nhìn ra biển, có Wi-Fi miễn phí và chỗ đậu xe riêng miễn phí, nằm ở Yeosu, cách Bãi biển Ungcheon Beach Park 17 phút đi bộ. Location was perfect, great view over the marina. Space inside the apartment was generous. Easy bus access. Lots of nearby restaurants, or 10 minutes bus to “clean crab village” for the best marinated crabs in town. Helpful owner. Best place we’ve stayed so far in Korea.
