Darren was an excellent host, he helped us out a few times especially when we were leaving as our bus company had not organised any transport for us to get to the boat nor a boat to get back to Don Det. With him speaking Lao he organised it all for us & took us on his bike 1 by 1 to the boat ramp so that we could finally catch our bus to Siem Reap. Extremely helpful.

Of the area it was to us the best — a pristine pool and a nice shaded area on the river for watching the sunset. Breakfasts were generous and the staff super helpful (with excellent English). We walked to the two different waterfalls on different days, and it’s easy to pop over the bridge to Don Det. Lots of restaurants in the area, too. Dry relaxing

This place is awesome, it's far away from the town but that makes it more special. From here you can go easily to the other island and the waterfalls. The owner is really nice, always taking care of the guest and she even gave a bracelet at the end of my staying :) The bungalows are spacious and clean and the wifi works really good

Localizado em Ban Dondét e rodeado por vegetação, o BABA Guesthouse dispõe de quartos com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. We had a really nice stay at the Baba Guesthouse. The room and bathroom were very spacious. The bed was big and comfortable. We had a cosy terrace with a beautiful view on the Mekong River. The location is very good, close to a lot of restaurants. It is a bit more pricy then other stays, but definitely worth it!
