From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized by Buddika, who managed our transfers, meals, accommodation, and safari experience with incredible professionalism and kindness. He personally arranged our pick-up from Negombo, coordinated the drive to Wilpattu, and took care of every detail of our stay. The following day, we enjoyed a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, which I highly recommend! We were lucky enough to spot sloth bears, leopards, and elephants—a truly unforgettable experience. Moni Farmhouse is brand new and beautifully designed. It felt like staying in a private suite surrounded by nature, offering peace, comfort, and total immersion in the wilderness. All our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were freshly prepared and delicious. After our stay, Buddika also arranged our transfer to Anuradhapura, making everything seamless and stress-free. We are deeply grateful to Buddika for his warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Thanks to him, our journey through Sri Lanka started in the best possible way. Highly recommended!

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. The guest house features family rooms. Staff are super nice. They waited for us until midnight for check-in and prepared a take-away breakfast for our morning safari. Room is clean.

We left for our safari early so sadly did not get to try breakfast, but were very satisfied by the room, and appreciated the warm reception/ extra care the staff gave to our family! While there was no common space (think motel style rooms that spit out onto a outside porch) we were only there one night and it suited our needs well. The safari company was able to pick us up from this location so all worked well.

The location is amazing, it felt like waking up in a little paradise with the singing and you can have a free safari just waking up a couple of meters down the road. The area is extremely safe and friendly and there are few small shops which are super convenient. On the top, the hosts, a really nice Sri Lankan family, were amazing, they prepared me a nice breakfast at the treehouse, picked me from the bus station and also drove me back early in the morning. And lastly they gave me home produced mangos. Highly recommended if you want to relax and enjoy nature.

The cleanliness of the hotel is top-notch, and you can tell that great attention is paid to every detail. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of service and comfort provided. Everything was just perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough! Truly an unforgettable experience.

Jeewa provided great recommendations for things to do in the area, helped organise transport, and even took me on a day trip to Pidurangala and Dambulla in his tuk tuk. The home-cooked meals by Masha were absolutely delicious — a perfect introduction to Sri Lankan cuisine. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Jeewa and Masha truly went above and beyond to take care of their guests. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Habarana and the surrounding area. They helped shape are itinerary and suggestions additions that were fantastic, eg Sri Lankan dance show at the cultural centre, organising a fabulous yoga teacher, as well as great safari. Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

The property has pool views and is 10 km from Pidurangala Rock and 11 km from Sigiriya Rock. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Everything was great. Breakfast, help, and kids enjojed the pool. We even had evening koncert and playing the guitar and singing. Simple, nice lokation and really frendly host.
