We were a family of 3 with a baby of 1 year old. They made our trip incredibly comfortable and memorable. We stayed at a 2 bedroom apartments which was spacious and clean. You will find many restaurants nearby, including a pharmacy. They have provided us with a list of recommended restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as possible supermarkets in the neighborhood. A manual with all the necessary details on how to use the amenities and appliances in the apartment is also available. The interior design is contemporary, chic, and clean. We will definitely book this apartment again for our next trip.

A very helpful Landlady who was more than helpful and available. Twin Peaks is an excellant location, friendly and very secure. A great swimming pool, gym and play facilities for children as well as workspaces for my laptop. The location is great, a restaurant at teh entrance and acroos the road a supermarket and bakery for good coffee.

A nice, quiet place to stay in the Cinnamon Gardens away from the frenetic city center. The rooms are large and bright and the house is lovely. The host is very wonderful and helpful, a delight to talk to. We really enjoyed our stay there. We’d be happy to stay there again on our next trip to Sri Lanka. There is not much to eat around the guest house, it is a quiet residential neighborhood with sports fields and offices and such. It is quite pleasant to walk around. A 200-300 rupee tuk tuk ride will bring you to several places to eat, bank etc. We highly, highly recommend eating at Ran Bath Organic which was recommended to us by the host. The food there is perhaps the best we had in our entire trip. Also, a short walk up Maitland is the Glomark supermarket where you can find a wide range of items, as well as alcohol and a pharmacy. Upstairs is a small food court. The food doesn’t really stand out, but if you don’t want to go very far to get something to eat, that’s the place to go. Skip the laundry at the side, it’s very expensive and very slow.

The helpful caretaker , a beautiful view, and delicious breakfast make it a great value for money, especially for those looking to experience local life. The home is well-maintained, clean, and offers a sense of community, Mrs.Madhushi always keeps smiling face and guide me like a family friend , and her son Mr. Shihath a great friendly guy took me for sight seeing and explained the spots etc etc will be defiantly back to my friend home soon 😊

The suite felt like our own private oasis, the location was extremely convenient to travel within the city of colombo. The interior felt homey and absolutely gorgeous. 10/10 would return!

I had a wonderful stay at Alakamandava spending 4 nights here at the beginning and end of a 2 week holiday. The beautiful apartment and location is peaceful and perfect to relax and unwind after a long flight, yet a short tuk tuk ride away from Colombo City. The hosts Dharshana and Bhagya ensure that you have everything you need, and the breakfast and meal choices were superb, really enjoyed the Sri Lankan options (although I had to Google some things, and there's also Pasta and Pizza etc.. As a solo traveller I felt completely safe here, it's very homely and so many pretty terraces to sit and look over the neighbourhood. I enjoyed watching the tree Squirells, and many different birds.. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sri Lanka.

We flew in late at night and couldn’t have asked for a better and more comfortable place to stay! Both owner and the caretaker lady were super kind and helpful. We were served yummy breakfast (you can choose between English and Sri Lankan breakfasts). The house itself is completely new, modern and very stylish. Rooms are spacious with air conditioner and all necessary amenities! Overall, 1000% recommend!

Nice and quiet rooms in a nice area of Colombo. Excellent cafe located downstairs. Very helpful staff organized our late check out at midnight, and arranged us a ride to the airport. The room was very cute cute and the bathroom was modern and clean. Highly recommend!
