We had a really wonderful stay at Silver Rail. The room was very big and very comfortable. The family who runs it was so welcoming, they offered us tea and a delicious breakfast. They even showed us how to make the pancakes we loved so that we can try to make them at home later 😋The location was good, we could walk to the Fort everyday. Everything at the Villa was 10/10!! Sunith and Januka took such great care of us and made sure that everything we needed was taken care of. The breakfasts were great and the general level of service was incredible! We were also able to rent a motorbike at a good price and get a Tuk Tuk service from the train Station and a taxi up to Negambo through the hotel, making everything very easy!! We will definitely return on our next trip to Sri Lanka and can 100% recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area.
