Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. Fantastic room with good bed, swimming pool, great food (buffet dinner) and best of all, superb safari directly from the house. Our guide was great (respectful to nature and sensing the wishes of our group). The host of the property is really charming and hospitable.

Spotless, everything is new and very well looked after. Cannot say enough good things about our stay, I just wish it was longer

Beginning with a beautiful drive into the jungle like property and an incredibly friendly welcome by Irangan. The tent itself is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and allows you to have the feeling of being outdoors while still having a complete bathroom. There are birds sounds, and little critters to complete the experience. I would recommend eating at the property as the rice and curry prepared by the family was some of the most delicious we have eaten, you can also try some of the lake fish. So very nice to be able to support someone with a dream and offering such a nice tourist experience.

We had a brilliant stay at Hasthi cottage. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had a lovely outdoor bathroom and tub. Outside of the cottage was a lovely outdoor area. The cottage was near to the main road where there were some restaurants and shops. We were picked up from Mirissa and dropped off at Ella which was organised by Dasun and was a good price. In the morning we had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast which was very filling. A laundry service is offered which we used and our clothes were returned the very next day. We went to the national park for the safari which was an amazing day. We were provided with a delicious breakfast and lunch. Our tour guide Pereira was super friendly and awnsered all our questions. He made sure we had time to watch the animals and helped us to take some incredible photos. Overall an amazing stay and would highly recommend.

The place is.really amazing.The room nice and comfortable,.we enjoyed swimming and relaxing beside the river, the breakfast was excellent and the owner so kind and helpful.He arranged a safari for us which was amazing and gave us bicycles to go around..Wish we could stay more.
