Everything is just perfect—beautifully maintained grounds. I highly recommend it for families with children: there are toys and puzzles in the room, and outside there’s a great playground, plus peacocks and bunnies. There are activities for adults too, from outdoor games to little boats for a ride on the lake. The hosts are very friendly; we were delighted by the little gift waiting on the table when we arrived: neatly wrapped wafers, a jar of delicious raspberry jam, and a souvenir magnet. ❤️ Everything’s super—100% recommend. ❤️ The stairs up to the bedroom are a bit steep, but that’s nothing compared to all the positives. 😉

It offers both the ability to sleep in a cozy little room upstairs, and a couch downstairs for when the nights got a bit hot. On top of that the owner was wonderful.

I wish I could magically wake up every weekend in Alvis' home in Aglona.. What a wonderful place! We loved absolutely everything about it : the house itself is so comfortable and full of history, the nature that surrounds it and all the lovely areas set up to enjoy it are so peaceful and outstandingly beautiful, black banya is an unforgettable experience, the town is quiet but with everything one might need and so many things to explore. This place is heaven for anyone who would like to slow down and enjoy what really matters: peace and quiet, natural beauty and good company. We had the warmest welcome, Alvis was so thoughtful and always made sure we were comfortable and never had to worry about anything. I am truly grateful for his kindness and hospitality! I wish we had stayed longer, but I have a feeling it's not the last time we visited this place :)

The place has all you need for a comfortable stay. The views of the lake in the evening are absolutely stunning, and you can enjoy them right from the hot tub. It’s peaceful and secluded, perfect for unwinding. There’s also a nice BBQ area. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and cozy getaway.

The exterior is picturesque, on a lakeside. The place is a summer house (a cabin), compact, but really nice and comfortable, except beds.

Great place to escape from the city bustle. Very kind hosts. Always remember that you are going out of town and there may be some small inconveniences, but definitely nothing major. Where you can enjoy nature, sauna, each other, and nothing else (if this is what you were looking for - you wont need anything else). All the facilities are there and exactly as you'd expect them to be. The hosts know to greet you and then to leave you alone completely until you check out. Bring all your own things (food, drinks, etc) because there is nothing around... Mobile phone (internet) coverage is surprisingly good.
