Guesthouse is located about 3.5 k from Old Town & bus station but it’s a few min walk to Long beach This part of town has a more local feel with expats visiting their home town. there are private combi buses to & from Old Town. About 2 euro each way. This family are amazing and honest. As female travelers we felt safe and comfortable. The rooms are snug but very clean & comfy. We appreciate the effort put into providing such a nice space for travelers The dad picked us up at the bus station and gave us a ride to the bank another day. He didn’t ask for payment but he definitely earned and deserved a gratuity. Very thoughtful family.

It is 1m away from the house / your balcony. In June 2024 everything new. Design super nice - as shown on pictures. Family running the hotel is super friendly. They have super tips for things to do / where to eat - yet the restaurant next door is marvelleous - also highly recommended. The road (if you take the 2nd road coming from then north - don’t take the 1st exit as recommended by google maps) is absolutely okay - yes it’s one lane and you need to drive back a bit if you meet another car

Great accommodation and amazing hosts. They thought about everything and even built rooms for a single person. The beach is near, as well as many restaurants and entertainment facilities. The city is not too far as well.

Muy bien situado, tienen además sitio para aparcar en la puerta, ya que por la zona es muy difícil. La cama es muy cómoda, está limpio y tiene de todo. Muy recomendable.

Horizon Lodge Medurec queda aproximadamente a 23 km de Puerto de Bar y ofrece alojamiento con vista a la montaña y balcón. Hands down the basest place we stayed on our 15 day road trip through the Balkans! The sunset was stunning and lasted for what felt like ever. They really thought of everything when building the cabin. The hot tub was piping hot and exactly what we needed after days of hiking. They have a restaurant that we didn’t know about beforehand but I highly suggest you get there in time to eat there. It is stunning and the food looks incredible. We had car troubles upon leaving and Damir and his dad helped us get the care we needed! They are truly the kindest family! We will 100 percent come back to this gem!

It is honestly a solid 10. The host was extremely kind and helpful, always there on the spot to assist us with anything we needed. You can tell he puts a lot of effort into keeping everything clean and well-maintained, from the garden to the hallways, and especially the room, which smelled amazing and was spotless down to the smallest detail. He also gave us great recommendations for food and beaches.
