He went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay, and we really enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning. The location of the property is incredible right on the water.

Merlin Guest House is a property set in Saint Francois. Some rooms feature a kitchen and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available and on-site parking is provided. Though basic, it is very clean and well maintained. Staff were excellent in their services and dinner was superb!

The view was absolutely fantastic and a joy to wake up to every morning. The house was in a lovely secluded position on the hillside and so well equipped from a fridge freezer, great coffee machine, excellent Wifi and so much more. The owner was so responsive by text and the lovely Melissa was on hand if I needed anything. She also cooked me the best meal I had on the island. There was a great little shop down the road and excellent local restaurant with a bus stop at the end of the track to get into town or to the beach or It was a 15 minute if you fancied the walk to Mourouk beach. I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe. I cannot wait to go back and can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you are wanting to experience a beautiful authentic island off the beaten track. This accommodation offers it all. To wake up every morning with seaview and hearing the waves at the nearby reef was fantastic. The owner really takes care of his guests and the apartment is well kept. We had a car during our stay which is recommendable

The place was cozy, beautiful, simple, and very charming. We were surprised by a very warm welcome, and the morning delivery of fresh baguette and pies which was unexpected and a wonderful treat. The location is perfect. We will return for sure!
