I hope go back to WALVIS BAY WIND BEGGARS someday.

The hosts communicated nicely before we arrived, sharing the location and asking us what we were interested in doing while in town. They also gave amazing recommendations for close by food and drinks. The room and outdoor space was nice and spacious, thoughtfully decorated, and felt easy to relax in. The shower was perfect after a day of activities with good pressure and heat. It was a much needed feeling of home after traveling for so long. We came as strangers and left feeling like family! Another part was their recommendation to do a tour of Sandwich Harbor with the tour guide, Gideon. Hands down an amazing experience with fresh oysters, champagne, and good eats while in the middle of the Namib desert. After we expressed a desire to sandboard, he ensured we had an amazing spot and prepared boards for multiple awesome rides. Then we enjoyed a spectacular Braai with everyone and it is something I will remember forever.

Such a beautiful property in a truly secluded and private place. I cannot believe it was the price it was for the accommodations. Super new, super comfortable, clean, a perfect braai outside, and a wonderful kitchen. I was here alone but for a couple, this place would be spectacular. It’s new but don’t let that dissuade you. Come here.

Situated just 14 km from Omaruru Railway Station, Ondudu Safari Lodge features accommodation in Omaruru with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a bar, as well as full-day security. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The tent we had booked was enormous and comfortable. The furnishings, like cushions for outside chairs, was a little uneven ie some had cushions and others did not. The location in a private reserve was spectacular with huge boulders and views spectacular. There are quite a few trails which you can walk by yourself. Servings at dinner and breakfast were generous; tea time cake was a lovely addition. I recommend this place before or heading out of Windhoek. No. 6, which a friend stayed in, was the best for views but a fair walk from the restaurant!
