We loved this place and we will definitely stay here again when we come back. It’s easy to locate, very comfortable and clean. Staff are super helpful and kind. Breakfast is phenomenal, garden is awesome. There are cutest chickens and the bunnies. It’s a short bike ride to the old town and to a huge park where you can ride your bike or run/walk.

This is a beautiful property, well located near the centre of the town and on the waterfront. The house is themed on the history of a previous Röder and some fascinating documents and pictures are on display. Even the rooms are named after other members of the family, which is a nice touch. The host was amazing and couldn't do enough, being particularly helpful in securing our e-bikes in his garage. Breakfast was wonderful and eaten at a communal table with other guests, which is fully in keeping with the ambiance of the house and was most enjoyable.

Mirjam is the sweetest host. She puts a lot of energy and heart into her little B&B. We were very well taken care of! The B&B is situated perfectly in the middle between Amsterdam, Den Jaag and Rotterdam, so we were able to take day trips to each city or just have a nice walk at one of the beaches nearby.

If you like having breakfast at the edge of the pond full of fishes coming to the surface to eat or breath fresh air early in the morning (not sure what exactly were they doing, but they do it every morning), once you finished, two ducks (always the same onse) coming to catch one fish each and then crousing around in front of you only to be joined by a lonely stork, just like you watching the duks (but from the other side of the pond). Within an hour you can get warm rays of sun giggling through fluffy little clouds across blue sky, all of a sudden swallowed by the grey mist comming out of nowere and then the wind, and a little rainshower and then sun comes back... cosy, comfortable, having everything you need and of course very, very, nice, extremenly kind and helpful hosts Herma and Chris!

The location of the property was absolutely perfect, very close to town centre but very quiet and comfortable. We were on the ground floor room and it was great since one of our party has some mobility issues. I feel like I could write a full page just on the breakfast that was provided each morning. For two of the mornings, we had an early start so Fred delivered bread and meat and cheeses that we could eat before we left. On the days we were fortunate enough to have some time, there was enough food to feed a family of five. We were able to make sandwiches for lunch. We were blessed with incredible weather and we were able to experience King’s Day in the town. If we got tired, we were able to easily walk back to the room and have a rest before continuing on our day. There are any number of fantastic restaurants within a few minutes walking. Fred and Marion were very gracious hosts and helped out with any issues we had at all. I would recommend this BnB and these hosts for anytime you are fortunate after to visit this beautiful small city.

It was a very lovely place to stay in a great location with good restaurants to choose from not too far away. We could keep our two bikes safely inside the entrance and the hosts were extremely nice and very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding - the best on our trip - and we had plenty left to make a great packed lunch for our day's cycle so thank you!! Highly recommended.
