This apartment-hotel is in the "old town" part of Drammen, more charming and more restaurants compared to the other side of the river (based on my observation and the comments from my colleagues who were staying in hotels on the other side of the river). The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Espresso machine worked well - more capsules available at the supermarket across the road. Bathroom well stocked with hand wash and lotion, shampoo/body wash and conditioner. Loved having the washing machine - there was a drying rack and things dried quickly overnight. Bed was very comfy and so was the couch in the living room. Easy to cast from your phone to the TV for apps like Youtube and I believe there was also Netflix. Lovely view of the Bragernes church tower from the window (I was on the top floor). Elin provided quick assistance when asked via the Bookings.com app. Easy to get into the building with the app (download Upkey before your stay....instructions to do this came while I was travelling and it was difficult to download on the move) or a provided keycard and into the apartment with a short number. Short walk over the bridge to the train station - note there is an elevator on the train station side but you have to look for it behind the staircase, and no stairs on the hotel side of the river. Wifi worked very well, in fact better than the office I was working at during the week. Coworker had an even nicer room across the hall from me.

A large, cosy and comfortable apartment that is decorated with style. But what we appreciated the most was the host. We felt welcome from the beginning. She has a heart for nature and outdoor activities. We arrived in the late afternoon from Oslo and wanted to do some activities. She took us from the house for a beautiful hike in the mountains. Afterwards she provided recommendations for other activities in the neighborhood. The day after we changed our program and instead of going immediately to Hardangervidda we've made a superb cycle tour to Finse.

Clean apartment, lots of space, kitchen with everything you would need. We had apartment 302, which had a spectacular view from the side window. Lots of parking space just outside the apartments. We would highly recommend going to Tinden.
