A fantastic stay in a beautifully decorated room with even more stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. We didn’t spend much time in the common areas, but they looked inviting and cozy. We truly wish we had stayed longer.

Well equiped kitchen, a comfy bed and showers with great water pressure. Great location within a 10-15min walk to town, right along the harbour with a stunning view! The common spaces/deck were great as well! Staff were always smiling!

The island with the iconic, ochre yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations. Pictured in countless commercials, postcards, tv shows and films, this is a destination that you will not easily forget. We loved the uniqueness of the cabin. It was so beautiful and also comfortable. Squeaky clean. Basic stuff included. It was so cozy, when we entered the lights were low and jazz was playing on the radio. Amazing experience.

The Lofot Aquarium is a 3-minute walk away. First, its location and surrounding is magnificent and stunning in its beauty and tranquility. Second, the red cottage we stayed in blends in well with such a beautiful landscape. Third, staff in the reception are warm and friendly. Fourth, the cottage is spotlessly clean. Fifth, breakfast is rich and varied in choice, quality and quantity. Sixth, dinner is sumptuous and of good value for money.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. This is the most funkiest place, well located in the centre of town, we walked everywhere. The host, Lene, is the most wonderful, charming, helpful, and knowledgeable host we have encountered. She makes a difference. Her house is beautiful and she shares it with grace and unique charm. Great coffee machine, fully equipped kitchen. Very good bed. This place offers terrific views from the common relaxation area. Asking Lena for tips is a must.

Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. The apartment offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. Amazing! The cabin is perfect. It may say cabin in the description but the apartment is huge and luxurious. Comes with everything you need and all the extras you’d wish in a holiday, inc a complete kitchen, washer. They also have a space to hung dry your clothes so it is just perfect. But the views tops it all up. The cabin is right in front of the dock with full views of the water and the mountains. It is very serene and all you can hear are just the birds and nature. As per the location it was also so convenient, right in the middle of Lofoten Islands so you can make this as tour base and drive to either ends in just 1hr. If there’s anything I could change, I wished we stayed longer.. but maybe next time and hopefully soon.
